Grants Management Specialist

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is committed to advancing the science on drug use and addiction and applying that knowledge to improve individual and public health. To achieve this goal, the Division of Extramural Research (DER) within NIDA provides management and oversight on the development, implementation, and coordination of NIDA’s extramural programs, policies, reviews, and operations planning. DER is seeking exceptional candidates for multiple positions, including:

Grants Management Specialist | GS 9/11/12/13 (3 positions to fill) 

DER’s Grants Management Branch (GMB) is seeking three (3) highly motivated individuals to join an experienced team of grants management specialists. Talented and qualified candidates can join the NIDA scientific and administrative staff to quickly address evolving public health needs including the opioid public health and overdoes crisis. On-the-job training is provided to supplement the knowledge base needed to perform the daily responsibilities. Candidates with good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as on a team are encouraged to apply.
