This notice of proposed contract action is posted in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(2). A copy of the solicitation may be obtained from the point of contact.
This requirement is for ChiP-Seq analysis of Human Endothelial Cells treated with Tobacco smoke and Tobacco related compounds. NCATS will ship cell lysates to the contractor, who will perform ChiP-Seq analysis of these lysates to look for Protein-DNA interactions as potential mediators and potentiators of toxicity responses in cellular systems.
The contractor shall:
1. Provide NCATS with the specific protocol for the samples within one (1)week after receipt of order.
2. Provide shipment confirmation upon receipt of the samples, and confirm whether the samples are still frozen and the packaging was not compromised during the shipping process.
3. Perform ChiP-Seq analysis of nine (9) samples to look for Protein-DNA interactions as potential mediators and potentiators of toxicity responses in cellular systems.The analysis will be of 3 samples in triplicate for a total of 9 samples.
4. Return final analysis data to NCATS within twelve (12) weeks of receiving the samples. The data will be sent electronically to the designated NCATS points-of-contact.
Interested parties may identify in writing their interest and capability in response to this requirement. Responses to this notice shall contain sufficient information to establish the interested parties’ bona-fide capabilities for fulfilling the requirement and include: unit price, list price, shipping and handling costs, the delivery period after contract award, the prompt payment discount terms, the F.O.B. Point (Destination or Origin), the Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and the certification of business size. All offerors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov.
All responses must be received by closing date and must reference the announcement. Responses may be submitted electronically to the attention of the contract specialist. Fax responses will not be accepted.
All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
