Through market research, it was determined that there is no reasonable expectation of receiving offers from two or more small businesses that are capable of meeting the Government’s requirement. Therefore, this requirement will be solicited as Sole-Single Source Non-competitive on the NIDA Electronic Bid Board.

Background/Description of Requirement

The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) is a part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), which mission is to catalyze the generation of innovative methods and technologies that will enhance the development, testing and implementation of diagnostics and therapeutics across a wide range of human diseases and conditions.

As a part of the HEAL (Helping to End Addiction Long-term) Initiative launched by NIH this year, NCATS is currently pursuing screening of several opioid-related targets for primary and follow-up approaches. GPCR cell lines described here provide a novel and HTS-amenable handle to measure the activity of these important targets.  To this end, HEAL/ETB is in need of these cell lines to enable these novel drug discovery efforts.

The vendor shall provide:

• 1 x MultiScreen™ CHO-K1 Gqi5 Ga16 Parental Cell Line, 2 vials, (Multispan Inc. # Catalog CG0003-1)

Contract Type:

A Fixed-Price type of Purchase Order award not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold is anticipated for any contract resulting from this requirement. The anticipated award date is September 22, 2020.

DELIVERY DATE:  Delivery to be made within 4 weeks after receipt of order. Inspection and acceptance will be performed at NCATS located at 9800 Medical Center Drive, Rockville, MD 20852.  A firm fixed price type order is anticipated to be awarded as a result of this RFQ.

 

SUMMARY STATEMENT:

Responses to this notice must include sufficient information to establish the interested parties’ bona-fide capabilities of providing the product or service.  The response shall include: the unit price, list price, shipping and handling costs, delivery days after contract award, delivery terms, prompt payment discount terms, F.O.B.
