Single-Sole Source Determination
Leica Microsystems Inc. is the only supplier of the upgrade of Leica TCS SP8. This is an upgrade to an existing, complex system, and only Leica engineers can provide the equipment and installation. Any upgrades must be compatible in all respects, and capable of coordinating, connecting, and interfacing with the existing systems. The laser upgrade will expand the functionality of an existing Leica Confocal Microscope.

Laser 405 nm DMOD compact

  • Upgrade 405 Port
    • Optical and mechanical coupling interface for laser with 355 nm, continuous wave 405 nm or pulsed laser 405nm for FLIM
    • Laser coupling via fiber, beam merging by specific longpass-dichroic LP 425
    • Unified collimation optics compatible with CS2 design HC PL APO objecive lenses
    • Chromatic correction for optimal multicolor imaging
    • Streamlined optical design for all magnifications for reduced maintanance cost
    • UV collimator automated by software
  • Laser Upgrade 405 nm DMOD Compact
    • Continuous wave laser with wavelength 405 nm for fluorescence imaging with dyes such as DAPI or Hoechst. Laser intensity is directly modulated (DMOD),
    • suitable for imaging with region of interest (ROI), in detail:
      • Wavelength 405 nm
      • Laser output power 50 mW
      • Direct modulation of laser intensity (DMOD)
      • Suitable for imaging and photoactivation
  • Installation of 405 Laser
