The lead-time is approximately (2) to (3) weeks after receipt of the hard copy Purchase Order. It is important to order this equipment on time because this is mission-critical equipment for a brand new lab that cannot proceed with any experiments until a functional hood is installed. Other vendors had a lead time longer than this current vendor.
Background/Description of Requirement

Studying the oligodendrocyte has many technical challenges and the objective of this equipment is to culture primary cells purified from rodent brains and grown on either a 2D flat substrate or on a 3D substrate. This hood protects cells from contamination, which is especially important in primary cells, which are more sensitive or prone to contamination than immortalized cell lines.
