Background/Description of Requirement

The INSS lab is trying to characterize neuropathology in a large cohort of COVID-19 patients using antibody immunostaining. With the automated BOND RXm staining system the lab is able to stain the entire case in excellent quality in a short amount of time. The results obtained from the BOND RXm staining system are reproducible. Thus, automated staining system can ensure quality of staining, reproducibility, and speed. By standardization, performing the validated protocols on the automated instruments is less demanding, and that work can be shared by more lab members. In addition to the COVID-19 project, the INSS lab use the automated staining system to detect various protein distribution in the central nervous system of patients with different neurological disorders. The purchase of the service contract on BOND RXm system is required to maintain the staining equipment in a good condition and prevent from projects dilations.
