Background/Description of Requirement

Contractor will provide an annual preventive maintenance service visit, covering both the Eaton 9390 120 kVA 480 volt 3 phase UPS (model 9390-100-120, S/N EG082CAC09) and attached Vycon VDC 300 kVA 480 volt 3 phase flywheel power storage unit (S/N U2000588), both located in BRC room 01B118.

Contractor will provide service coverage for the UPS with an 8 hour guaranteed response time, 7 X 24 coverage, including all parts and labor.

Contractor will provide service coverage for the flywheel unit with an 8 hour guaranteed response time, 7 X 24 coverage, on a time and material basis with a discount on materials.

Contractor must be authorized by Eaton and Vycon to perform service on this equipment and have direct access to the parts, software and expertise needed to execute the site survey, preventive maintenance visits and corrective service on an 8 hour response, 7 X 24 coverage basis.

Interested parties may identify in writing their interest and capability in response to this requirement. Responses to this notice shall contain sufficient information to establish the interested parties’ bona-fide capabilities for fulfilling the requirement and include: unit price, list price, shipping and handling costs, the delivery period after contract award, the prompt payment discount terms, the F.O.B. Point (Destination or Origin), the Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and the certification of business size. All offerors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov.

All responses must be received by closing date and must reference the announcement. Responses may be submitted electronically to the attention of the contract specialist. Fax responses will not be accepted.

All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
