Background/Description of Requirement
  1. The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and Emergency Management (EM) and Safety Team requires cabinets which will provide storage of key mitigation resources to be deployed in the event flooding in the designated space in which they will be placed. The cabinets are designed to keep items within, safe from water and heat exposure.

 

The required three (3) cabinets require individual inside delivery and installation to three (3) different locations of NIMH. 

 

 

  1. The NIMH EM and Safety team have identified the need to stage vital mitigation equipment in areas that are prone to flooding or suffering a facility-related water event. These staged resources can then be rapidly deployed to limit/prevent water intrusion into vital research assets.

Interested parties may identify in writing their interest and capability in response to this requirement. Responses to this notice shall contain sufficient information to establish the interested parties’ bona-fide capabilities for fulfilling the requirement and include: unit price, list price, shipping and handling costs, the delivery period after contract award, the prompt payment discount terms, the F.O.B. Point (Destination or Origin), the Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and the certification of business size. All offerors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov.
