How many people use inhalants?

• Among people aged 12 or older in 2021, 0.8% (or about 2.2 million people) reported using inhalants in the past 12 months (2021 DT 1.11).

• In 2022, an estimated 3.6% of 8^th graders, 2.4% of 10^th graders, and 1.8% of 12^th graders reported using inhalants in the past 12 months.

• Among people aged 12 or older in 2021, 0.1% (or about 335,000 people) had an inhalant use disorder in the past 12 months (2021 DT 5.1).
