2022 NIDA International Forum Focuses on Building International Collaborative Research on Drug Use and Addiction

NIDA International Program leadership, Dr. Lindsey Friend and Dr. Jennifer Hobin, co-chaired the 2022 NIDA International Forum, which was held virtually in conjunction with the College on Problems of Drug Dependence (CPDD) Annual Scientific Meeting. More than 400 attendees from 74 countries participated in this year’s virtual Forum, and 102 posters from 47 countries were presented on the meeting’s platform. Two virtual plenary sessions featured presentations by 29 researchers from 13 nations and seven time zones. The NIDA International Program and the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction supported 17 travel awards to researchers from 14 countries to attend the in-person Annual CPDD Scientific Meeting held June 11 to 15, 2022.
