Vi Thi Turon Vu, M.P.H., from Vietnam received the 2022 College on Problems of Drug Dependence (CPDD) International Committee Award for Best International Research Poster. Ms. Vu is a project manager and study research coordinator at the South Vietnam Addiction Technology Transfer Center at Ho Chi Minh City Medicine and Pharmacy University. Ms. Vu’s poster—Take-Home Dose Methadone in the Context of COVID-19 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam—investigated the outcomes resulting from the implementation of multi-day methadone take-home regimens for people with opioid use disorder during the COVID-19 lockdown. The analyses found no negative treatment outcomes in people adhering to methadone treatment, including no methadone diversion or overdoses.
