Diversity Inclusion Group (DIG)

Introduction:

The Diversity Inclusion Group was formed to increase and improve opportunities for diversity and inclusion within, and in initiatives overseen by, the Division of Neuroscience and Behavior.

Mission:

The overarching mission of the Diversity and Inclusion Group (DIG) is to increase and improve the inclusion and representation of all people in the biomedical research community supported by the NIDA Division of Neuroscience and Behavior (DNB). DIG’s specific goals are to:

  1. Enhance the diversity of, and promote health equity through, neuroscience and behavioral research
  2. Increase the diversity of the scientific workforce
  3. Bring more diversity and inclusion to DNB, in our interactions with each other and our investigators.
